The Southern Virginia University men’s basketball team put the finishing touches on a record-breaking season last week by defeating Ave Maria University 83-67 to claim the school’s first ever United States Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s Division I National Championship in Uniontown, Penn. The Knights compete as a member of the Coast to Coast Athletic Conference (C2C; known before November 2020 as the Capital Athletic Conference) in most sports.
